Perfect and ready for full restoration, this 1980 Chevy Corvette is one of only 5,069 produced with the L82 engine, the last year that particular engine was available. The engine runs and sounds great! This Diamond in the Rough could be used as a daily driver with a little basic maintenance or fully restored into a show car worth thousands more than would be required to completely restore the vehicle. All of the car boasts its original parts with the exception of the wheels, which were replaced with chrome spoked wheels as shown, and the radio. The pictures will indicate the damaged areas, there are several area's that need minor attention from a fiberglass body expert but it is all cosmetic; the largest area to be addressed is on the drivers door and included in the pictures, the frame of the car is in great shape. Obviously after the bodywork it does need to be painted. The car is equipped with the Corvette Glass T-Tops, however the T-top on the right has been dropped and it is broken on the corner, again its pictured. Finally, the exhaust system is in tact, however the pipes are hanging down because the brackets are broken. I have the owners manual and a complete assembly guide for the car, as well as a few replacement parts which are included.
